This page links to a number of pieces of major work I have undertaken.
Each illustrates some quality of clear communication, extensive
research and depth of thought.
Philosophy
My undergraduate philosophy thesis explores the distinctive philosophical
method of Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951). Heralded among the greatest
thinkers of all time Wittgenstein left an almost paradoxical legacy:
the end of philosophy. What does it all mean?

Exhibition Posters
A series of four posters created for an exhibition at the recent
filming of Robot Wars.
Sussex Robotics Society took examples of fully autonomous robots
and evolved simulated agents to introduce our ideas to a non-scientific
public.

Towards Avoidance
and Detour
Scientific research into sensor evolution and domains of plasticity
in evolutionary robotics. Although highly technical such a document
demonstrates long term commitment and self management combined with
high level planning and research skills and a clear and methodical
writing style.

Robotics
Links to a page outlining my interest in artificial intelligence
and robotics. This work follows the above technical themes but adds
practicality and, most importantly, imagination to the mix. In the
words of Dr Inman Harvey: 'Philosophy of Mind With a Screwdriver'.
